Atelier Aquatic  Drawing inspiration from life in the Ocean, to life on Earth

A B Sea

Screen printing project- Art education and marine conservation project using the familiar rhythm and basics of the alphabet, the ABC. We learnt about 3 core species in the marine eco systems and their amazing individual attributes and parts they play in the bigger picture; Anemones, Butterflyfish and Cuttlefish.

 We learnt about:
  • Different creatures who live in the sea and what makes them special
  • Visual Elements; Line, Colour, Pattern
  • How to use monochromatic drawings as colouring in resources for others
  • Mixed media using contrasting colours
  • Translating designs into screen print to print in different colours and layers
  • How we can conserve, protect and regenerate life in the Sea
  • How we can remember facts about life in the Sea through learning our ABC

Feedback

"What you did here was so AMAZING, you were such a good teachers, educators and a very resourceful team. Thank you for having you and the team here doing a wonderful projects. It helps us to be more knowledgeable and responsible to our MOTHER EARTH. You let kids expressed their feelings about the environment through painting. You taught people how to protect marine lives and to preserve it. What you have done here in Port Barton was highly appreciated. No words can say how much we love your artwork. Our team would like to express our deepest gratitude for sharing your knowledge about marine conservation and everything. We wish you all best Anita and the team, good health and a happy life. Thanks to Atelier Aquatic"

“This is one of the most unforgettable experiences in my life. My classmates realised the importance of the sea and its ecosystem and realized the effects of their wrongdoings. The best thing we can do is to share our knowledge,”
